Jess said she'd update the firmware after ending the call. Got a notification within minutes to say it had started NO MESSING! Lovely girl.

Stag Solar recently installed a system for us, from start to finish they were nothing but efficient, professional and informative. Richard talked through our options, re-quoted as I changed my mind. He also helped me avoid extra expense by not letting me install fancy add ons that weren’t cost effective. The finished system is great, it’s really well installed, everything works as it should and solar with a battery is honestly a game changer, within a few days it’s was obvious we are going to save a lot of money on our bills. From the project manager to the onsite team, everyone is friendly and switched on. They took all their rubbish, don’t leave a mess and generally were fabulous. It’s so nice to find a local firm with so much going for them. I would wholeheartedly recommend Stag to anyone.

Stag Solar did a solar panel and battery install (FoxESS) for me in June 2025 and I couldn't be happier with how everything went from start to finish. Josh and the whole team have been really great and answered every question I had (and I had a lot!). Everything went super smoothly and the quote was highly competitive as well. In the end Stag Solar as a local company won me over by their expertise and customer service and I know I absolutely made the right decision. The install went super well and everyone was careful about all the surroundings as well. When I did have a power issue as a result of the new install the following day, they sent an engineer out right away and fixed the problem for good. I'm super happy with my panels' production and the battery, so really can't fault them at all. It's early days of course, but during the summer months I could already see the pros of my system in my monthly bills 😎☀️ You don't have to think twice with Stag Solar, they're a fantastic choice!

We had superb service from Stag Solar, from our initial enquiry to our recent installation. There was no 'hard sell' at any point - just considered suggestions as to how to get the best benefit from the system. These we were happy to go along with (and are now glad we did). Paperwork and information was sent in a timely manner and the odd query was dealt with almost instantly - the sign of a professional company in my experience. The installation itself was (astonishingly!) completed in one day; the team were all but invisible around our property, which was left clean and tidy. All in all we would recommend Stag Solar Solutions without any hesitation. A pleasure to do business with.

Excellent support from Stag Solar Solutions from the initial discussions all the way through to installation. Helpful explanation how it would work for our Village Hall, outline of the installation process and prompt, speedy installation of the panels. Excellent service all round from the team.

Stag Solar Solutions were professional from quote, install and aftercare. We had 19 panels installed with a Tesla Powerwall, we were very happy with the service and products. From my first contact to the final commissioning of our GivEnergy AIO, it’s been a completely stressless experience. Responses to emails are quick and clear. Quote was given ( in my case) straight away. Dealing with the office was friendly and helpful. The team that did the installation were good people to have at your house for the day it took for the install. I believe it’s a family business which appears to focus the people aspect, that’s staff and customers.I unreservedly recommend Stag Solar.

Stag Solar made the whole process smooth from start to finish. Richard was very patient, took the time to explain everything clearly, and proposed the best setup for our needs. The system is working really well and has been installed very neatly. Professional, efficient, and easy to deal with—highly recommend.

I had consulted a number of companies before I was recommended Stag Solar and commenced discussions with Richard at Stag first in 2024. Our ask was perhaps more complex than most with a need for a large number of panels to be installed on an out building but with the need to also be able to feed our house which was on a separate supply. Richard provided genuine honest advice over possible equipment and solutions with a clear recommendation on what he felt was best. It was obvious that Richards advice was based on deep technical knowledge and that his focus was always on the best outcome for us not on any particular solution, manufacturer or the price he could achieve. We corresponded over the best part of a year and the fact that Richard continued to remain engaged is a testament to his customer centric focus. We have just recently had the system installed, with panels, battery storage and EV charging capability, integrating the supplies of both our outbuilding and our main house. The installation team including Josh and many others were incredible - highly professional, courteous and detail focused. Post installation they are helping register the system and sort out export metering to the grid and have returned to site twice to help us get familiar with the system and app. We are really delighted with the result. The system is producing huge amounts of energy and exporting surplus to the grid and although its the summer we are now able to say we really are totally powered by Sunshine. What a great team - I couldnt recommend them enough.

I was always sceptical about having solar panels but a close friend recommended Stag Solar, who had recently installed a number of panels on his house. My close friend has never given me bad advice so I contacted Richard, the CEO at Stag Solar to start a discussion, having first used their excellent website to get an initial quote. Richard and Josh spent time answering all my questions and were very patient with me :) The upshot being that they have installed 21 panels on my swimming pool building and the black panels blend with the slate roof and look as if they have always been part of the original build...one of my worries. The installation was very smooth and the Stag Solar team, on the ground and in the office were fantastic. Richard, the CEO, is technical but also hands on and came out on the installation day to make sure all was in order and I was happy. Great customer service! I received all the support documentation promptly following the installation, together with the export MPAN, which Stag Solar had applied for early to expedite the account set up with an energy supplier to enable the payments for exporting surplus energy to the grid. The system has been working for 2 months now and I can see the step change in lower running costs. In conclusion, my scepticism has been cured and I am considering signing up for another solar panel installation with Stag Solar, who from my experience, I strongly recommend.

The benefits of working with a local business far exceed big corporates. The team from Stag were easy to talk to throughout the process, from booking a visit too installation & after. Josh came over to survey & provided a plan for the installation without any hard sell pressure. Day of installation. The team arrived early & were all respectful of my property. They worked well with one another & were polite & courteous throughout the day. The installation went through without any issues & the work was completed to a quality standard & the site left clean & tidy. After sales. Again the benefit of a local company allows conversation with a real life person & no jumping through hundreds of hoops & button pressing to be met with hours of waiting on hold listening to abysmal music. I've been waiting on UKPower Networks for my MPAN number & it was great to have Megan chasing them up for me trying to push through the request so I can change my tariff with Octopus. If I could, I'd rate Stag Solar Solutions 10 stars. What a wonderful business to deal with, thank you & keep up the great work.

Stag Solar recently installed solar for me. Josh was excellent with initial contact. Ensuring I understood the quotes and the benefits and pitfalls of each option. Richard and Josh visited the site to explain the install process and go over the finer details. Again, excellent, providing further useful snippets and observations. The install process itself ran exactly to plan. Jim and the team explained as they went through the install ensuring they were available to answer any questions. Megan was on hand to deal with any paperwork queries. All of the follow up paperwork was completed speedily. All round very happy and I would recommend.

Very happy with the service from Stag Solar. Josh and Richard visited to discuss options and then provided a quote which was competitive with others I had. Couple of weeks later installed solar panels and a battery system on the Monday with final configuration happening on Tuesday morning. My system has now been up and running for a couple of weeks with no issues, all the documents G99, Export number etc provided by the office as soon as UK Power Networks had issued them. Excellent service all round.

When choosing to have a solar solution added to our home we researched what we would need in terms of panels and a battery to store excess power for use at night. I contacted several companies for a quote and advice, Stag Solar Solutions was very competitive and gave good sound advice. They have good office support for technical help if needed. Once we had discussed and agreed on the set up needed a date was set for the instal. The team arrived on time, about 6 people. All very courteous and respectful of our home. They put up the rack and some panels on the first day despite the rain! Most of the indoor work and wiring was completed. On the second day the panels where put on the roof (no rain) and the system was commissioned and working by lunch time. The technician went through each device and the app you get to monitor and control the system. We chose the Givenergy Inverter, 9.5KW battery and a Givenergy car charger. I would highly recommend the Givenergy equipment it is a British company with UK support should you need it. I am writing this about a month after instal and must say very happy with everything. A few minor teething problems where sorted out with the help of the Stag Solar support team. Stag Solar also sorted out very quickly all the paperwork and certificates needed to get registered with our power company (Octopus Energy), and we soon got an export tariff. It was all made very easy. We are generating really well, even on dull days. When the sun is out the car charges quickly as well. It feels good to use "green" energy at home and the payoff will be very low electricity bills, saving on petrol and making a bit on exporting excess electricity. I highly recommend Stag Solar Solutions if you are looking for a reliable and accredited company.
