Prompt inspection of boiler leak, knowledgeable and reassuring engineer Dominic diagnosed wind driven rain into flue due to extreme weather conditions. Boiler checked and working normally. No further leaks. Very satisfied with the service.

We had a problem with our boiler where the heating and hot water should’ve been on (no error messages etc) on the boiler screen and yet nothing was working! Jason spent time on the phone to us going through it all and then kindly sent the lovely Dan to our place to sort it. It was pouring with rain and Dan was outside fixing the boiler issues with no complains! He was super patient when our dog was barking and genuinely a really kind and friendly chap! Both Jason and Dan were clearly knowledgable of their field and really helped us! Dan fixed the issue and we are now lovely and warm! Great company, great people!

I cannot recommend Davey and Gilbert highly enough. They look after all our plumbing and boiler systems at Chapel House in Penzance, and they have been consistently outstanding. They are always friendly, incredibly quick to respond, and they genuinely stick to their appointments — which is rare and so appreciated. Every member of staff we’ve dealt with from front desk to the workmen has been helpful, knowledgeable, and very pleasant to deal with. But the real testament to their service came on Christmas Day. We had guests staying when a tap suddenly broke, and I had to call their emergency number. It was answered straight away, and within half an hour, Phil arrived — on Christmas Day — having left his family to help us. Phil was an absolute lifesaver. He was calm, polite, professional, and so kind, and he completely saved the situation for us and our guests. We are beyond grateful. Davey and Gilbert are reliable, responsive, and genuinely caring — exactly what you want when something goes wrong. We wouldn’t use anyone else. THANKS D&G !

I contacted Davey and Gilbert for help with an electrical issue after a neighbours plumbing had leaked into my light fitting. They were very responsive, and organised for an electrician to attend quickly to have a look at the issue. Tom and co were very helpful, and very thorough - just what you want to ensure that the electrics were all safe! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

I phoned Davey and Gilbert approximately 10 o'clock in the morning to say my boiler Refuses to start, can you help? The lady on the end of the phone said we are extremely busy but leave it with me and I'll try and juggle things around, buy 3 PM. That same day, Harrison arrived, very pleasant lad and the boiler is up and running. What more can I say, Well done Davey and Gilbert and thank you.

I use this firm for both gas and electrical servicing plus occasional new installations. Without exception their service/attention to detail has been very professional, this from start to finish. Put simply, I can rely on thier support.

The 2 lads that came and fitted our external sockets for St Just Christmas Lights were polite and understood the needs of us and the home and business owners. Their work was clean and tidy and all parties were very happy. Thank you for saving us in such a short time scale really appreciate it.

I cannot recommend D & G highly enough. From survey to completion, our boiler & new radiators installation was carried out in a friendly, efficient & professional manner throughout the whole process. Communication was great & all queries raised were answered immediately, & advice supplied throughout, plus the job was completed on time, with impeccable attention to detail from the installation team.

The usual excellent annual service was carried out by Lee and Harrison, who also did it last year. They arrived as agreed around 08:00 (otherwise known these days as "the middle of the night" for me as I age gently!).. All done in about 90 minutes. Also, Marco recently changed the PCB in my cooker hood, which now works perfectly. The middle fan speed, which is used most, had failed. Now all speeds work efficiently. Really pleased!! 😄🎃👹

After a bed experience with an electrician a friend suggested Davey & Gilbert. Really wish we had gone to them to start with. Marco turned up on time assessed what needed to be done & got straight to work on what we asked him to prioritise. A leak arose with my plumbing system. Having explained the source of the leak, the company offered to replace the faulty item free of charge. The work was carried out by a member of Davey & Gilbert plumbing team accompanied by an apprentice. I was impressed their work which included checking the remainder of my central heating system Recommended

Great service provided and managed to get out in super quick time. Was organised remotely for a relative with dementia and engineer was courteous and aware of her condition. Thankyou for a great service and will call again when she forgets to switch the taps off and floods the house

Great company to deal with. Engineer replaced propane changeover valve and non-compliant pipework leaving everything neat and tidy - a pleasure to deal with. Subsequent visit to discuss possible heat pump instal very helpful too.

The installation of my boiler went faultlessly! The Engineer was first class! His knowledge of his trade was second to none! Arrived on time and worked diligently thorough out the two days he was at my home. I would absolutely guarantee this company to anyone. Not just the new installation but for all the years they serviced my old boiler!
