Nick was brilliant! There was some delay in getting the manufacturer to supply parts but he kept pursuing them on my behalf until my solar panels were working again. He was really helpful and never gave up. He was great at keeping me informed of progress and helping me monitor output after they were working. I would definitely use him again. My husband and I we got our Solar install done with a fairly new company. Their installers initially did the electrics for us. However, it was such a headache to begin with. Made us think whether we did the right thing by getting solar and batteries installed. But eventually we were put in touch with Nik and his team at Affordable Power. From day one they have gone above and beyond in making our system work correctly for us and also gave us a very competitive rate for the battery upgrade that we were after. They are always here even if at a very short notice. Their communication to us is just excellent. We are so grateful to have found them.

Affordable power monitored my energy for the first month and then changed my battery settings to suit my system after the installation. The customer service has been excellent, and savings are more than expected. So I can highly recommend them

Helpful and honest

I asked for a review of my solar array and for a panel to be installed on part of my extension roof Nick was really helpful, and very honest in his assessment of my options and the likely costs involved. I appreciate this far more than the many adverts online that promise cheap installs, and then used to stun and confuse or leverage money out you! Nick was also very helpful with discussing the setup and new regulations, and explaining details that I had not fully appreciated. Such a good experience and Nick was very approachable, felt like he was a friend giving objective advice and now I have an idea of what I could do next and what I need to save up for

Excellent advice

I had been to a lecture where they raved about solar power and it totally conflicted with my expetience of the technology. I have had 14 solar panels on my flat roof for 7 years and they have delivered virtually no extra power. I could not see how I was doing so badly with my effort to reduce my energy consumption in the light of the figures quoted in the lecture. I sat next to Nick from Affordablepower, at a social event and he said he would visit my property and help me understand the technology and perhaps help me enhance the performance of the panels. He has been to see me on at least 6 occasions since pointing out a major installation problem( the first couple of panels are shaded by a chimney) and, after carefully explainig what all the system parts do, making suggestions as to how we can enhance the system we have. He has also proposed several ideas about how we could just reduce our energy consumption by adopting different lifestyle habits without ever trying to pressurise us into buying products from him. I wish we had had someone like him to advise us in the first place.
