It is a modern dual-glass N-Type monocrystalline module of the type leading the market in 2026: less light-induced degradation than older P-Type cells, better low-light and hot-weather performance, and glass on both faces for durability. One number needs translating, though: the advertised 25.52% efficiency is measured at BSTC, a bifacial test standard that adds rear-side light. The standard-test (STC) module efficiency, the number every other brand's headline figure uses, is 23.10%. What “Smart Panel” actually means
Each panel carries its own optimisation electronics, so shade on one panel from a chimney, aerial or tree does not drag down the output of the whole string. Our verdict
On paper, SunwurX is a serious entrant: the panel specification is genuinely premium, the warranty terms are long, the accreditation list is the right one, and the founder has run solar installation at a scale few people in the UK have. What it does not have yet is a track record under its own name, and with bespoke pricing you cannot assume value, you have to verify it.
