We had solar panels and batteries installed in 2013 following recommendations from Cambridge Solar Together. We were approached in 2025 to ascertain whether we would consider having air conditioning installed. We decided to have a unit for our bedroom. This was installed quickly and we have been very satisfied with the system as we have also been able to use if to heat the room quickly during the very cold weather.

First rate - very helpful and expert

Very helpful, expert and efficient. They won a contract from Central Bedfordshire Council to support domestic PV installations at a competitive price so I used them to expand an existing Solar PV system including adding battery storage, to install domestic air-conditioning and soon to double the battery system (having added the A/C and also having an EV car). Their after sales support has been excellent at all time

We have had a solar system and batteries fitted by Greenscape a few years ago. We were intrigued by one of their online videos about air con units being used for heating as well as cooling. So we arranged for a visit where all our queries were answered. How the installation would be done was very thoroughly. Before the installation of thr aircon units we needed to have a couple of visits for electrical cable to be installed. All very efficient and really neat. The contractors who did the installation were great. Greenscape had arranged for it to be done in one day instead of the planned two. Absolutely no mess left and everything thoroughly checked. Their payment portal is rather efficient too. Just waiting for some information about warranty registration and service plan now but really really pleased.

We chose Greenscape to install a solar panel and battery system after extensive research of competitor installers. Greenscape had competitive prices, system specifications, and very good warranties. They also did not try to hard sell us like other companies did. They provided a personal experience and sent a surveyor over to our house before providing a quote, as well as providing the only fully itemised quote we received from any company. After signing with them, the installation process was smooth and easy. Our system worked immediately except for the heating function in our battery, which had to be enabled later and took more than a month of phone calls to resolve. The phone support is very good, it's easy to reach them on the phone and they are very helpful and positive, but then actually getting problems resolved takes longer than expected. However, we now have a fully working system that we are happy with for a price we were happy with. Overall, I recommend researching lots of companies and taking your time before choosing a solar installer, but I would personally recommend Greenscape and would choose them again.

Very positive experience

I was a week away from having solar installed by soley when they went under, so I had to start all over again & go quotes from lots of different companies. Greenscape stood out a mile. Andy was my first point of contact who came to survey the house & was by far the most knowledgeable & honest out of the lot (many said things about other companies that I know were not true. Andy was the only one who told me honestly about other companies) It was his knowledge base that made me go for Greenscape. After that the process was very quick and communications from Rebecca via email were always responded to quickly. The install team were all respectful of the house, and honest. They informed 3/4 tiles had been broken & were replaced within 2 weeks. The electrician made an error in drilling as we have a slopped bedroom, and he filled in and made good and was very apologetic. Our solar & sig battery are now up and running an just waiting for final form to get on smart tariffs & scaffolding to come down, but after recent bad experiences with many companies Greenscape have been a breath of fresh air.

4 years 3 months ths in still…

4 years 3 months ths in still constantly loosing pressure down to 0, consistently ignoring my phonecalls and emails. Emergency line left 4 voicemails! No hot water now! Heated to 9c! Do not let these cowboys near your house to fit a heat pump! Hose heating on all night when it's meant to be off! But they keep saying it's fine!! We have a very different term for fine. It's definitely inadequate! Also they have blocked me from Thier Facebook page! Very pathetic. They could just spend some time figuring out what is wrong with the system so I stop complaining about it not working!! But that's too difficult, haven't managed it for 5 winters now. Enough it enough. I'll take this further as it's clearly necessary and they don't care enough to fix it! Edit: I have sent multiple emails which have not been answered, your communication is still below expectations!

After careful consideration of various solar contractors, I decided to place my trust and money in Greenscape Energy. I’m a great fan of shopping local, and my decision was vindicated by the excellent service they provided from the survey to installation. Work was carried out to a good standard and to the timeframe provided. The installation team were tidy and respectful of our property. Any minor follow-ups were very swiftly dealt with, and I honestly cannot think of another company that can be more responsive than this! Solar panels initially fitted

Solar panels initially fitted; took over two weeks and several phone calls of chasing to take the scaffold down. They then didn’t process the paperwork correctly so it took over three months from installation before I was able to receive payment for energy sent back to the grid. Finally, small dusting of snow recently and the bird protection came off the roof. They wouldn’t cover it under the warrant quoting an act of god - the weather was minor. Wanted to charge me over £1500 to re attached the bird protection. In the end had to get another company to refit the whole thing, and the feedback I received from them was that the proofing had been poorly installed and is not heavy duty either. If you do get them to fit your solar panels, get the bird proofing done by a company’s knows what they are doing and have better aftercare

Messaged to ask about installation of EV charger

Messaged to ask about installation of EV charger. Received no response. Messaged again and guy said he’d come over on a specific afternoon to take a look. Never turned up despite me making specific arrangements to be at home. Were very pleased with solar install last year, but communication now seems to be terrible!

I had my solar panels and battery installed by Greenscape Energy on the 31st October 2025. They were very good communicating with me, excellent explaining and responding my queries. The work they carried out was excellent, looks very tidy and they cleaned afterwards. I am very happy with the system, the software is easy to use, without complicated terms, and I have encountered no problems yet. After two full months after installation, in the winter, I am averaging a 40% self sufficiency. Very pleased.

Excellent reliable solar installers

Friendly, good communicators, hard working and reliable company. They installed my solar and battery system on the 31st October 2025 and I was impressed with how tidy and hardworking they are. The cleaned after themself, and explained about the system, setting everything up in the FOX cloud app for me. All excellent so far, very happy.

Outstanding level of service all in all. From the initial advice in terms of optimal setup (which 3 months in has turned out to be spot on in real world), to speed and quality of installation, to competitive price. If only every home improvement could be this straightforward! Thoroughly recommend.

A good company to deal with

We have been extremely pleased with the solar panels with battery provided by Greenscape Energy - we have been self-sufficient in electricity and hot water for 6 months! We subsequently asked for 2 more panels after finding that the survey had only measured space for 10. An extra 2 panels were fitted a few weeks later with agreement on price after friendly discussion. Staff were brilliant. Apart from survey glitch, the only criticism would be that lots of small plastic pieces were found in the garden after installation - there should be a system for collecting these on the roof during installation. Overall though, fantastic, friendly service - a pleasure to deal with.

Mixed experience

I regret giving three stars rather than five because the surveyor who visited us to inspect the site, the two installers who carried out the electrical work and the administrator who completed the certification , thoroughly deserve five stars for the quality and timeliness of the work they did. The problem which is still ongoing is the removal of the scaffolding and the breaking of a significant number of roof tiles when the scaffolding was erected. After nearly three weeks we are unable to get a removal date and written confirmation that the roof damage will be made good. Will update my review within 7 days to report as things hopefully progress! Ref #1118 Update : I can now report that the scaffolding has been removed and broken tiles have been replaced.

Just completed my solar and battery installation by Greenscape and so far so good. Pre installation team very helpful with product information and survey. Installation guys very professional and respectful of property. And again happy to answer my many questions. Also patient when helping to set up app on phone showing how your system is working etc. Going forward if the after care (if needed) is as good I will be very happy with Greenscapeenergy Ltd. Before deciding to use them I spoke to other people in my village who used them and 5 years after their installation they have had no problems and are also happy customers. Think I'm gonna love solar power. I can already see the savings and its October - sun and daylight generating power!

Had a Solar + battery install a couple of weeks ago. 5 star service right from the initial contact to the completion of all the paperwork post install. A special mention to the guys who performed the install who worked quickly and efficiently. You can tell from the neatness of the wiring etc. that they take pride in what they do. Am well happy with the actual system itself and its already exceding expecations. Would highly recommended Greenscape Energy to anyone.

Amazing Customer Service

Greenscape have retrofitted my existing Solar system with Batteries. The fitting process was seemless and the support since then has been amazing. They not only have kept me well informed on setting changes etc but I decided to add some additional batteries to the set up and they were more than happy to help me with some technical questions to allow me to do this on my own and hence save money. I contacted them today for a diagram which I was missing in order to change my FiT supplier. The phone call went straight to an agent who dealt with my query in seconds. A really first rate experience all round.

First class installation from the original survey through to planning, installation and commissioning. The installers and electrician were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, polite and considerate. The admin team also operated in a similar vein. All in all a great experience at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

The purchase process is straightforward and not "pushy". The jobs have been done well and on time as planned. Queries are quickly resolved with a phone call. I'd strongly recommend Greenscape.

Fantastic after sales service

Had a new fuse board fitted by own qualified electrician but solar system went a bit haywire afterwards. Greenscape tech team were wonderful and ironed out the monitoring issue in super quick time. Thank you.

Solar and Battery through Solar Together

We had solar (3.48kW) and battery fitted by Greenscape Energy in Nov/Dec 2024. It was done via the SolarTogether bulk buying scheme so the price was very competitive. We had a great experience throughout - our surveyor (Alex O.) was fantastic and extremely generous with her time. The installer and electrician were always on time and professional, despite the cold weather! The only slight 'problem' was that we did have to chase for the post install paperwork - however, we appreciate there was the winter holiday period and some of the paperwork ( DNO Certificate) is outside of Greenscape's control. Overall, I would recommend them.

Solar System

I had a largish (6 kWp) solar system installed. Surveyor was excellent , knowledgable and happy to talk through issues. Agreed install with inverter and battery in my preferred location with minimal outside cable routing. Price was competitive after getting quotes and, so far, FOX inverter and battery are excellent. Greenscape roofer clearly knew his trade and after inspection of rafters install is neat with no damage beyond a few wayward screws. Electrical install was subbed to a local (to me) company who did a very neat job indeed. As its a large system paperwork is still pending, but this is the DNO rather than Greenscape. The scaffolding was up for 2 weeks but removed promptly after I pushed. Overall I am very pleased. Occasionally response to emails is a bit slow but every time I have pushed I have had a prompt response.

Professional and Detailed

Although not local to us, Greenscape Energy had carried out installations nearby and had been recommended. We contacted them and a second, local installer. Greenscape's surveyor arrived 2 days later and carried out a very thorough measurement and survey of the roof, access to the garden and the loft and discussed our current electricity supply and use. He then outlined the possible options and answered questions about the various choices. By the end of the process we felt much more knowledgeable and empowered to make our own choices. The quotation (16 panels, batteries, inverter and immersion heater controller) was competitive with our alternative choice but we chose Greenscape because of the level of detail given and the input we had. Delivery and installation were carried out 6 weeks later, as agreed, and the equipment was fully connected and generating power 5 hours later. Support has not yet been required but Apps for control and monitoring were provided and can be remotely viewed by Greenscape in the event of later problems.

I had my solar panels fitted by Greenscape this summer under the Solar Together initiative. Greenscape were the approved installers and the process ran very smoothly - the surveyor and the installers were really good, explaining the components and installation making sure the app was working on my mobile (extremely useful to see how the panels and battery are performing). I have had some questions afterwards about setting force charge/discharge times as recommended by my energy supplier and their customer service/support were very responsive and helpful in answering these (thank you Hollie).

Greenscape are a breath of fresh air and an absolute pleasure to do business with right from the very first contact right through to after care. I went through the local councils Solar Together scheme which was awarded to Greenscape. Within a day or two of accepting the initial proposal and paying the deposit, I had a phone call booking in the site survey. A week or so later, their surveyor James came to do the survey. He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable answering all my questions. He went around looking at roof space, cable runs, location for equipment etc then went through everything with me in detail so I knew exactly what my options were. As I have a hot tub I use a lot of electricity and was convinced I'd need a bigger battery. James explained in detail why I wouldn't benefit from a bigger one and just the smaller one would be sufficient - how many companies around these days actually put their customers first advising them not to spend money on something they don't need instead of just agreeing, taking the money and running! James ran through what would be the best setup and how much that will cost. There were a number of additional extras I could add on if I wanted which James ran through but there was absolutely no hard sell or pressure in any way and when I said I'd like to think about it properly before going ahead he was more than happy leaving everything with me. Once deciding to go ahead, Sadia from the office was in contact within a week booking the install for the following week and the scaffolding went up a few days later. Sadia was absolutely brilliant keeping me fully updated every step of the way and when I sent a few emails with questions replied extremely quickly. She called me the day before the install checking I was happy, again during the install to again check I was happy with the progress then also the day after. This level of communication makes so much difference and again is so rare with companies these days. Even after the install was complete I had some questons I emailled to Sadia to which she responded to just as quickly and efficiently as before install. Install day, there were two guys - an electrican and roofer (I'm so sorry I didn't get their names) who like the rest of the team were absolutely brilliant. The electrician talked me through everything he was doing, set up the monitoring app and basically taking care of everything. There were heavy showers on the day but even so the speed and efficiency these guys worked at was unbelievable - arriving at 8:30 getting straight to work. By 12 the battery, inverter had been installed, the electrical work inside the house completed with the house running on battery power. I couple of hours later my 9 panels had been installed and connected working as they should. My sister also went through the Solar Together scheme and is due to have her's installed by Greenscape in a few weeks, but we've been so impressed with Greenscape my parents have now contacted Greenscape and have a surveyor booked in a couple of weeks! In summary, I couldn't be more pleased. Greenscape it has been an absolute pleasure and a big thank you to James, Sadia and the two installation guys.

I have been thoroughly impressed with the service received from Greenscape Energy in relation to the installation of my solar panels and Tesla Powerwall. From start to finish they have been very customer focused and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Everyone I've spoken to has been extremely helpful and polite, they've also been very supportive post installation too. I'm very pleased with my solar panels and so glad I opted for the Tesla Powerwall for energy storage. This had meant that since I've had the installation completed I've not actually paid for any electricity. I know this will change come the winter and I'll have to buy a minimal amount from the grid but what I do buy will be at a much cheaper rate as I can charge my battery off-peak ready to use whenever I need it. All in all very impressed, both with my solar set up and the service received from Greenscape Energy, so much so that they're coming back to install an air source heat pump later in the year. I would definitely recommend them.

Recently installed. Excellent service and communications throughout the process. Professional approach. After extensive research, Greenscape proved to be the most trustworthy. Waited nearly 2 years from inital contact before requesting a quote (due to house move and awaiting warranty expiration.) As with anything, do your homework but i can safely recommended Greenscape for knowledge and efficient service. Kudos to Jack Fox the sales guy for patience.

From online sign-up with Solar Together to completed installation took exactly one month. Aaron from Greenscape carefully explained the visual and financial impact of the installation without being patronising, over-technical or pushy. We were particularly keen to make sure that the inverter didn’t take up much of our eaves attic space, and he was reassuring. The installers were punctual and efficient, the electrician working while curled up a in very tight space, which can’t be comfortable. As requested, the inverter is tucked away and compact and doesn’t interfere with our storage arrangements. The instructions for installing the Solis monitoring app were clear and I started to check in with the flowchart. That wasn’t so much fun in the winter, of course, but now the sun’s out it is very satisfying to watch the battery filling up and the arrows pointing in all the right directions. With everything up and running, we haven’t needed to consult Greenscape about the installation. We are glad we paid extra for bird guards – there are a lot of pigeons in our garden, and we didn’t want them nesting under the panels. We like the matte black PV panels, which don’t look at obtrusive as some more metallic panels in the area. We’d been sceptical about an east-facing installation, but a lot of sun comes that way even before we’ve woken up! All in all, a quick, efficient installation from Greenscape which is starting to show the results we have hoped for.

I genuinely had a very pleasant experience with Greenscape from the initial booking of a survey, the survey itself and through to installation and the aftercare. At all times, I felt well informed and in control of the process; I didn’t feel pressured into anything at any point and it felt like I was being listened to. Struan conducted the survey and was very personable and professional in equal measure. He went through all of the options thoroughly and in layman’s terms; which really helped. Veronica from the Delivery Team has also been superb and regularly checked in before and after the install to make sure I was happy with everything. It makes you feel valued to have a point of contact like her. There were other members of the team that I spoke to via email who were also very efficient and pleasant to deal with :) I didn’t manage to catch the names of the scaffolding gang or the install team when I had the panels fitted but everyone was tidy, courteous and easy to deal with; again it was hugely appreciated as I find this sort of thing very stressful. And today, I spoke to Veronica again and queried the possibility of batteries as I didn’t opt for them initially but now feel they. Night be of benefit and she was quick to arrange a callback for me. Thanks to everyone who helped me have a very straightforward and stress free experience.

The installation of solar panels and batteries on our village hall has been completed to our total satisfaction. Our initial application through the Cambridge Together scheme could not progress as the hall had a 3 phase power supply but Greenscape were able to offer a commercial alternative which was competitively priced. We had to raise additional funds and Greenscape supported us through the delay and in the end provided us with a quote for installation less than their original quote which allowed us to enhance our installation. The installation was carried out quickly and the finished work was immaculate. Electricians and the panel installers carried out their work efficiently and quickly and kept the premises tidy at all times, disruption to the use of the hall was minimal.

Excellent service, Had our system installed beginning of October, can’t fault the service we had from survey to completion, was advised on what would work for us based on our annual usage, there was no hard sell or pushing to add more panels or batteries only sound advice. Since we have had the system we are really pleased and glad we had it installed. The panel installer and electrician were superb. Highly recommended.

We had our 12 panel system installed nearly 4 weeks ago now. It was to have been a 13 panel install.The initial survey flagged up a potential issue with the stress strength of our main pitched roof which has unsupported rafters. They suggested an independent structural engineer report. We had that carried out with the result that reducing by one panel would put us back within permitted deflection limits. There was some confusion regarding the installation day which eas kind of sprung on us less than a week beforehand. Scaffolding was put up the day before the install. On the day, the installation took around 8 hours. The workmen were good and made suggestions of relocation of the inverter and batteries. Roofers also were good too. We kept them all supplied with plenty of tea, coffee and water. The system is working just as planned. We saw a big drop off in power usage from when the system went live. It has worked well since the installation with just one minor alarm from one of the battery units which I reset. But not 5 stars. 4 weeks on the Scaffolding is still in place!!! I have called the company on 3 occasions now and have left voicemail on the mobile number they gave me fir the scaffolders. But no response. We would like our garden back please. I will call again this coming week.

I had a total of 12 panels installed (7 on the East roof, 5 on the West) complimented by 2 battery modules which I believe total 4.8kWh capacity. Everything went to plan with the install and I was up & running by the end of the day. The installers were personable, informative, and tidy on the day, and bird proofing was installed a few days later due to failing daylight / weather. All in all I couldn't be happier with how the install went. I've since become slightly obsessed with looking at the Solis Cloud web interface several times a day, which gives a nice clear picture of how the solar plant, inverter and batteries are performing, and also offers detailed reports or data downloads if you want them. Even though we're still in February, we seem to be getting a decent charge to the battery on a sunny day (up to 63% so far) so I'm excited to see how well this performs in the spring & summer months! I've had no issues or alarms since the install was completed, and every query I've had (mostly to answer questions regarding my SEG application) have been met with clear, concise responses. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Greenscape Energy to anyone who'll listen.
