Can't recommend this company highly enough. Excellent service, excellent standards of work and very competitively priced. Jamie has done everything for us from sorting out a short circuit on my house lights to fitting an electric car charger, and has now just completed fitting a full solar system. From first enquiry through to post system completion, Jamie kept us up to speed with progress, answered all questions fully and quickly, and even set the app up on my phone! Can say no more - you can't go wrong with this company.

From initial consultation to completed works JP Electrical are a knowledgeable, skilled,experienced, friendly and polite team. They also repect the property and part of their ethos is cleaning up afterwards, the explanations of what they have done were understable, not a load of jargon to throw you, they dont hide anything, they are up front and honest. I am very pleased with works completed which were completed as quoted at a reasonable price. After every bit of work completed I was asked to have a look to see if I was happy. I cannot recommend JP electrical highly enough and will use their services anytime I need anything done.

Recently obtained quotes for an EV charger installation. What surprised me (apart from the price) was a) no site visit before quotation and b) the requirement to pay upfront - around £900 - £1000 - before they would give you a fitting date - around 2 - 5 weeks from order is what most gave. I was not impressed. Then by chance I came across J P Electrical (Jamie Pateman). A different story……He visited site and we discussed cable runs etc. He gave a price; I accepted and we agreed a fitting date. The job was done on the date we agreed and I paid by card. Very happy with everything and Jamie also set up my phone apps, which saved me a few hours of reading the manual. Highly recommend this company.

Jamie and team installed 7 kWp solar array and inverter along with EV charger. Fantastic job. Jamie also had an apprentice on site. Jamie and his team did a brilliant job fitting solar panels to our roof. He worked out the most efficient configuration for us and everything was well planned from start to finish. The work area was kept clean and tidy at all times and all his team are polite and friendly. I've used JP Electrical for various jobs since buying our house a few years ago and the work has always been fab and very reasonably priced too. My solar project came in at over £6k less than the big national companies quoted me and was completed a lot sooner too. I always recommend Jamie when anyone asks for an electrician, he's never let me down.

They did an amazing job for us! We’ve had lighting issues in our kitchen for over a year and kept putting it off. Two visits from J P Electrical and our kitchen is brightly lit, no more dull, flashing lights and all the lights turn on at the same time now 😂 they were fast, professional, friendly and left my kitchen tidy. They explained to me the issues that were occurring and the different solutions they could offer. Highly recommend and wish I had called them a year ago!

Great service! Arrived when they said they would and sent a text to let me know when they were on their way. Booked us in quickly and were friendly guys. We had 8 spot lights fitted in our kitchen and we’re really happy with them, overall very happy with the service and would defiantly use them again.

Jamie and Aaron completed an electrical survey of a house we're buying. They completed the inspection and had the report back to me within a week and they quoted the best price I had found in the area. They explained any issues on the report and provided an idea of how much any repairs would cost without pressuring me for them to do the work there and then. I contacted Jamie regarding a consumer unit upgrade. He was professional, quick to arrange a visit and provided a very reasonable quote. Arran and Tom arrived at the agreed date and time to carry out the work and were extremely polite and helpful. They fully explained everything they were doing and were neat and tidy throughout the job. Although there were some unexpected issues, requiring them to come out for a second day, there were no additional charges. Very happy and will be using again for future work.

Jamie has been to our home to do work on a number of occasions and is always friendly, efficient service. Was recommended by my son and we have recommended him to others who have been very pleased with his service. Will be using him again soon.
