Found GGRS online and so glad I did. Very professional right from the first phone call on a Friday had an engineer on the following Tuesday. Gary tested my whole solar system and found the inverter was starting to fail but after 15 years with no issues at all I decided to have it replaced. I thought I would have to wait for another appointment to have the work done but he said that he could replace the inverter that day. Job completed system up and running to full potential - Happy Days. Would highly recommend this company.

The nottingham team were amazing! They cane out as soon as possible when out inverter suddenly stopped, and gave us honest advice on what our options were without trying to oversell. Then they worked hard to get us in as soon as possible knowing we weren’t generating during some exceptionally sunny weather. The installation was seamless, quick, professional, and looks amazing with no obvious corners cut. All for a competitive price. Can not fault them at all! Will be using them for all solar related issues from now on!

My solar inverter failed after 15 years. I found this company on the web, rang them and booked an engineer. He arrived 2 hours early and diagnosed the problem. The inverter needed a replacement. A call to his boss and a replacement was found. It was delivered to their office half an hour away and engineer collected it and installed it and hour later. Brilliant service. Highly recommended.

Can't say how pleased I was with the complete GGRS service, from Sam in the office to Mike and Chris on site. I used GGRS over 2 years ago at a different address via recommendation from a trusted friend. I was impressed then and that impression hasn't changed.

I’ve just had Lewis and Paul from GGRS/Kelly Communications round to apply mesh around my solar panels. They’ve not only applied the mesh… they’ve removed all the panels, cleaned 4 bin bags full of pure filth (including dead birds), fitted the panels back and cleaned my gutters. A couple of great lads and I’m very thankful! 👏🏼

GGRS came to our aid when my solar panel system failed and with it my complete electrical household feed. Amazingly, ESE, with whom I have a maintenance contract said they couldn't attend for six days. Thankfully GGRS came within three hours and at least resolved the electrical feed into the house.

I contacted GGRS when my 16 x PV System (original installer no longer trading) was only generating 50% of previous KWHRs. Engineer appointment booked within days. Karl the engineer was very polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He took me through his fault finding process and showed me readings at every stage. Within one hour he had identified the problem, replaced faulty part and had system up and running to how it was initially. Excellent service all round from GGRS.

Avoid! Ignore the websites that assure you they are local to you, they have one branch, one team of engineers, and that is based in Liverpool. Quick to take my money, they wired the inverter with a dangerously undersized cable. Three visits later, we still had system errors and no battery dongles to monitor the system,. They eventually removed the installation, and in fairness, refunded my money, but not until after damaging my property and causing a heap of inconvenience. GGRS were totally unprofessional throughout.

After reading several reviews I contacted GGRS when my solar system stopped working. Their engineer came today, his knowledge and explanation of what had happened and what to look for in the future was both reassuring and refreshing. After diagnosing the fault he rectified it quickly, explaining what he was doing all the way through. I'm really glad I got in touch with GGRS and would highly recommend them.

Helpful on the phone setting up a realy quick appointment for an assessment of my (at the time) faulty system. Whilst this turned out to be an expensive lesson for me in how to manage my system, the investigation was thorough, the explination and evidence that there was no identifiable fault was detailed clear, and not rushed. I was given confidence in the system and its functionality/condition, as well as options to mitigate the possible reoccurance of the fault. With so many "installers", and so few people taking on maintenance of ageing systems, its good to know there are people out there able to help.

Buyer beware I had solar panels fitted by GGRS in September 2022. I have no complaints what so ever in regard to my solar panels. However, I purchased from GGRS a 5.2 battery and inverter the brand being sun synk. Which cost £4,950.00. This is when my problems began. Firstly GGRS' electrition installed the battery and inverter incorrectly this because the electriction hadn't had any training to install sun synk batteries. As much as I appreciated the electricians efforts to do the job he was unable to complete the job properly but was pleasant person to deal with. Followimg this each time I complained to GGRS to state my system isn't working correctly. I am 76 year old and was fobbed off with technical terminology I didn't understand. I felt abandoned. Eventually after months of being led up the garden path from one excuse to another. I spoke with the director Karl Grice who I found dismissive of my complaint. I found him very off hand and reluctant to solve the issues. I then took it upon myself to contact sun synk directly. I asked would they come out to check my battery system. Sun synk came out to my home March 2023 this is months after the battery and inverter was initially installed and sun synk found the battery and inverter had been installed incorrectly they corrected the settings on the inverter. The sun synk electrician took photos of my inverter and battery leaving instructions for the GRRS electrian on how to correct the errors they caused by ill fitting. Since this was done I am finally happy and my battery and inverter work correctly as they should. I can't praise sun synk enough pity I can't say the same for GGRS.

I will never use these people again. I suggest you don't either. My experience of my inverter failing was made much worse by using them and they did not seem to care. In the end I sorted all the problems myself . I was promised a phone call to discuss my issues but that never happened either. They seem very keen on taking your money but not so much on helping.

Found GGRS by accident and they were excellent. Our solar panels are 11 years old and needed a service. Gary arrived and checked everything out and gave us a clean bill of health. Very helpful and efficient company. Hoping we won't need a new inverter too soon but we know we can rely on GGRS to sort it for us when the time comes. Great to find a company who will service and repair existing installations.

Sam and Karl have been very helpful in resolving my Solar Panel problem. Panels installed 10 years ago developed a problem at the end of 2022 and it was difficult, almost impossible to find anyone offering an after service. Once I found them the response from Sam was fast and efficient, Karl followed up and fixed the problem. Thanks to them both

I'm lucky enough to know the M.D personally, but that does not take away from the fact the job was excellent and went smooth as silk. Great team. The third solar installation Phil has sorted in my family. Two of my sisters have had him install solar too.

Had to have new inverter back in April so had a hybrid inverter plus 2 batteries fitted by ggrs they were all fitted very efficiently. I've been very impressed with the system and only had to use 50 kwh from the grid since being fitted in march. Big thanks to Samantha in the office. Regards Steve

Should really have left a review earlier, but forgot. Would thoroughly recommend this company for anyone wanting solar installation. The price was great, it was installed unbelievably quickly (I think within about 5 days of initial quote) and aftersales support has been great.

Green generation were excellent and very helpful. Their great advice made me feel very confident in going ahead with them and the installation. All the help and the installation of the solar panels was very professional. My solar panels and battery storage system are working brilliantly with all the recent sunshine. Thank you all, very happy with everything. Highly recommend
