I've used Ian a number of times, he's ace and honest which is always welcome with a tradesman. He's installed an extractor fan for us and also we have had a few electrical issues as the years have gone on and he's more than willing to go through debugging steps before he comes out which has saved us money in the long run. Thanks Ian!

Ian came to do some ethernet/data cabling for me. Work was of a very high standard and completed quickly and efficiently. Ian was very pleasant and friendly and tidied everything up after the job was complete. Highly recommended and will use Ian again for future electrical jobs in Worcester.

Got back to me quickly even though it was a small job , Rory did an excellent job of fitting two outdoor sockets for me and even offered to help me move my new garden furniture that got delivered! Very helpful and professional would definitely recommend. We will be using them in the future.

We've used Fairways for a few jobs ranging from broken wiring to replacing an extractor fan and they've been fantastic every time. Ian is a wonderful electrician with vast experience and he performed the job in hand to an extremely high standard. His communication was on point, he was friendly, kind and there was absolutely nothing more I could ask from the service I received. Ian came out within hours of our initial call to assess some issues caused by some inept electricians. We had no heating or hot water. Ian was shocked at the state of the work. He checked the safety and made safe and informed us what to purchase before he returned to complete the work. Ian came back at his earliest convenience a couple of days later. He put right all the issues and installed our Nest thermostat and set it all up. He left allowing the heating to kick in but after an hour the radiators hadn't warmed up. I rang him at about 6.30 and he was back within 20 mins. He inspected the boiler and pipework and identified air in the system which he worked extremely hard to resolve. We now have hot water and heating. He was extremely tidy and very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Ian for any work you need doing. He was a lifesaver.

Great service! I had problems with the bathroom lights. Ian communicated really effectively throughout the whole process of initial contact to completion. Also really friendly 🙂. Ian managed to identify the problem efficiently meaning that he could get on with fixing it without any delays. Really clean and tidy work too. Totally recommend.

I had the pleasure of having Ian fix an exploded shower switch. From the beginning, he was helpful and informative about what he thought the problem might be. He was accommodating and visited me the same day I called him about the issue. Once at my home, it became immediately clear that Ian knew what he was doing, and I enjoyed having him walk me through exactly what he was doing. Although Ian hasn't actually carried out any physical work for us, he has been so helpful following a recent scam job we unwittingly entered into. We had solar panels installed on the roof with an inverter in the garage, but when it came to making payment to the other company, our suspicions were raised. The installers were not part of any regulatory schemes or trade bodies, wouldn't provide any certification for electrical work completed etc etc Not wanting to pay the significant balance to this company without being 100% sure we had received a genuine and safe service we reached out to some local companies for advice. Ian from Fairway Electrical responded within 24 hours, came out and spent nearly 3 hours with us discussing all the areas he had concerns with, what he would do if it was his project, and providing advice on where we could go next. As we then began discussion with the rogue company, Ian was on hand to support with what to say and how to approach them (they were getting rather nasty). In the end, they chose to come and remove their solar panels and inverter etc and refund the deposit. At this point, Ian wasn't obliged to continue helping us but he did, checking in each day to see what the progress was, how we were feeling and just generally being a great support during what was a distressing time. He has also advised on what would be good for our home, and been honest about what would actually add value or save us money, none of which are things he could supply and install. So despite having no opportunity to make any revenue from us, he has provided an exceptional service. I therefore wanted to leave a review to ensure that anyone who does need work doing that Ian can do, should use him without hesitation, as I am confident you will receive excellent workmanship, service and overall experience.

I contacted Fairways Electrical based on the number of positive reviews and spoke with Ian, who was so generous with his time and advice. Since being stung for hundreds of pounds by an incompetent and deceitful electrician, it was such a relief to speak with someone trustworthy like Ian. I’m not at all surprised that he is so highly recommended – thank you, Ian, for your kindness and expertise.

Ian from Fairways came and did several bits of electrical work for us - ranging from new indoor and outdoor sockets, to installing a security camera. The job was done to a very high standard, and what I really noticed about the work was that Ian has a good eye for finish - the work is incredibly neat with all cabling hidden away. Ian was also happy to give suggestions and answer any questions that I had for him. When the work was completed, Ian also ran some tests on house electrics, and sent us a safety certificate for all of the completed work. Very happy with Fairways and will certainly be using them again!

Ian has completed work on my last two houses, after being recommended via a friend, and his work has always been excellent. He is extremely helpful, diligent and most importantly I have always felt honest, never up selling just doing what is most suitable for the situation to an impeccable standard. I will certainly be using Ian on any future jobs.

I was impressed with Fairways from the get-go. Ian returned my calls quickly and was very thorough in his explanation of the job that would be carried out. Ian came out promptly to give me a quote and was then able to squeeze me in before Christmas (and even earlier than originally thought).
