Unfortunately we have had a very poor experience with Econrg during our new-build. Our PV/ASHP/battery system didn’t work correctly for over a year (still unsure if it’s working now! Our App hasn’t worked for 11 months, which they’re ignoring) resulting in daily electricity charges of £20 per day- Not very ‘eco’. Eco never acknowledged there was a problem, but funnily enough after a technicians last visit, it seemed to miraculously work. They seem to lack the understanding of how multiple complex systems work, and are unable to identify problems. They ignore emails, turn up late for visits and are arrogant. More interested in installing the systems, and that’s it! No support or interest if there’s a problem. Not once has anyone checked in to see if our system is working correctly. I’d avoid at all costs! And avoid ASHP’s too.

Eco NRG worked with our roofers to fit an in roof PV system with battery and hot water diverter system. Nick was very happy to come out to discuss our needs and undertook the required survey and offered clear, sensible advice. Overall quote was well priced for the work we wanted doing compared to other quotes and they had a good working relationship with the roofing company. Fitting day went very well, with 3 staff working as a good team to get the system fully fitted within the day, leaving us with an excellent system that we are very happy with. Minor errors on handover paperwork, but they were happy to resolve quickly. Thanks EcoNRG!

Excellent service

Excellent service, fitters were polite and very professional. The company even sorted out a problem caused by a british gas engineer who put a sensor on wrong when fitting a smart meter. Throughly recommend this local company

Investing this sort of installation is a big commitment. Looking at Trustpilot and Google reviews made me initially cautious about employing EcoNRG but fortunately a workmate was able to give a first-hand recommendation. So, I took the plunge and I'm very glad I did! I was quoted for 13 panels, battery system and hot water booster. A reassuring start to the process was that the 25% deposit I paid was held in a special independent scheme. It meant that if EcoNRG went bust, I would get my money back. About 6 months later, they installed 14 PVs (I requested an extra one during the install) and here I am, nearly two months on enjoying the benefits. The scaffolders and installers were all very pleasant, neat and tidy. They took care to ensure all the wiring, inverter, battery, etc. were installed with the lowest aesthetical impact reasonably possible. Knowing how much the cost of materials and plant have increased over the last year, I was REALLY impressed they kept to budget, even for the additional PV I requested. A minor delay occurred because of snow the week before and I had to change some time off, but they did try very hard to fit the new dates around my availability. This included asking another customer if they would swap a day with me so I could attend a funeral. I'll never know who that other customer was but if you read this - THANK YOU. There was a minor hiccup regarding the wiring for the hot water booster, but this was quickly resolved and fixed, with good will. In fact, I always found they responded to a query reasonably quickly and they posted all the commissioning certificates, guarantees and assurances to me within a few days of job completion. I was happy to pay my final invoice. One thing I wish I had done is to get a smart meter installed and ready before the work took place rather than after but that's nothing to do with EcoNRG. The app provided enables you to monitor the system in quite some detail and is worth getting to know. Be warned, you'll find you can't help sneaking a look several times a day! In summary: Deposit held securely Honoured quotation Installed about 2 months after their initial estimated date Installation went smoothly Operatives took care at every stage Office staff helpful and pleasant Minor hiccup dealt with efficiently Did what they could when weather caused minor delay All documentation received promptly Pleased with workmanship and installation Appears to be working correctly Happy to rate 5*

Solar panels and batteries fitted in February, excellent communication throughout and quickly answered any queries. Great fitting team, installed in a day with absolutely no mess left behind. Would definitely recommend ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

What a great service from start to…

What a great service from start to finish. Booked installation back in June and they installed on the exact date they said in November. They were very informative about the process and the on site installation team were very polite. They respected the property, and did a very good professional installation. They were extremely tidy with their work throughout the day. Can not recommend this company enough. Had a few other quotes theirs was middle of the pack but well worth it for quality products and quality installation

Have had two installations by Nick and EcoNrg, a 6.8 Kw array with Tesla Powerwall at home last year which works brilliantly and a 30 Kw 3-phase Solar set-up at our business just now. Good prices, jobs done on time with minimum fuss and disruption, professional, clean and tidy. Recommended! Thank you very much EcoNrg

Unprofessional and rude

Contacted Via the website regarding a battery installation at the beginning of the year. Nick the MD got back to me straight away and said no problems they could fit it in 3-4 weeks. 2 months later Nick still hadn’t been out to survey the install. He finally came out months later mentioned notifying the DNO and could install in a matter of weeks. It’s now some 7 months later and many many emails sent and still no response. Complete waste of time and very unprofessional.

I wouldn’t use this company

I wouldn’t use this company. Their staff & morals are questionable! I have an employee of this company living nearby. After contacting the company to make a complaint about him leaving his work van in the parking space outside of my home for days/weeks on a regular basis they didn’t bother to respond to my complaint. They clearly spoke to him as he no longer parks his work van in the space but has now parked his car in the space & doesn’t move it at all! Today it’s been sat there for 6 days. The van moves so they can’t suggest it’s because he’s on holiday so as I said the employees standards are questionable! I’d contact them again given he’s wearing his uniform bringing the company into disrepute & thinks it’s funny to inconvenience someone out of pure spite but they don’t bother replying anyway. Will have to use social media to let the public know the type of employees they have instead! This is was posted earlier on social media but was deleted so I’ll continue to update on the search engines as well now so anyone searching can see the reviews on this company can read this too!

Great guys. Polite, amiable. Consulted me on requirements when installing and completed the work tidily.

After my initial enquiry back in February received a callback the same day and an indicative quote within 24 hours, we progressed to a site visit and committed to a 6kW solar PV system with immersion diverter. The correspondence and responsiveness have been great, and the installation team in early Juine were superb, completing the entire project in a day. We're now enjoying the benefits, especially plenty of PV powered hot water, and the panels look great too! We can't recommend EcoNRG enough.

More than satisfied with our instalation of a 4.5kw solar panel array, inverter, Harvi, and a TeslaPowerwall. Nick is not a salesman. Listens to what you want, gives advice, shows you what you will get and delivers. I live buy a motto of "under promise and over deliver" and that is exactly what the team at ecoNRG have done. I kinda feel sorry for Nick as each instalation he does, he gets loads more enquiries, i know this for a fact as he has had at least half a dozen from us. AS with most GOOD renewable companies he is now busy as and quotes will take a bit longer than you may anticipate, but in my opinion, its well worth the wait. Promised me a Tesla Powerwall installation from stock within 3-4 weeks in February, came out did a survey after the original promised timescale. Emailed and called a gazillion times, now JUNE. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE. Complete waste of time!. Avoid at all costs.

I have tried for the last 8 weeks to get a solar panel quote from NRG without success. I have sent in all the relevant paperwork and called on several occasions as I want to use local companies, but now I will have to look elsewhere.

We looked to install a solar system with battery storage onto a new property in Cornwall. Contacted a number of other solar providers that were just not as efficient nor as professional as ECO NRG. They have a great team from the level of detail in the quote to the advice offered on best solutions plus the installation and after sales care. Everything went to plan and on time to deliver a very satisfactory result. Would happily recommend to anyone and will use again for future requirements. If you have a need , give them a call you won't be disappointed..

I have used EcoNrg for work on two properties and am extremely happy with the results. They are punctual, professional and competent. More importantly, they are also happy to deal with any follow-up issues after the initial installations. Thoroughly recommended.

Eco NRG installed a Solar PV and Battery system for me at my house in Cornwall. From start to finish the service received was outstanding. I had 2 home visits, various telephone conversions and emails, all were incredibly useful, informative and every enquiry was answered quickly. Eco-nrg had installed solar panels on our roof many years ago and having moved house we wanted to use the company again to install a rocker PV solar system, high temperature heat pump, storage batteries and radiators. The entire installation was excellent right from the start to the finish. Everyone was very professional and carried out all their roles to a very high standard. They readily answered our questions and kept us fully informed of developments. We can thoroughly recommend Eco-nrg. A top class company.

If you want a company that does not respond to any aftersales support enquires by email and telephone calls then eco nrg ltd is the firm for you. They strike me as a "one night stand" entity - no ongoing relationship or interest following your payment to push solar panels onto the roof. My multiple attempts to illicit a response to my enquiry suggests they are "wham bam" outfit. My experience suggests one needs to expect more.... by not considering eco nrg ltd. Very unhappy one time customer on Dartmoor.

Brilliant service from initial contact through to completion of installation. This is a first class company, our new solar PV system is brilliant. No attempts to over-sell things you don't need, like several of the other companies which quoted up to twice the price. I would recommend Eco nrg if you are considering installing solar panels. You will receive professional advice as to what will suit your circumstances.
