Didn't quite work out, but that's life, but nevertheless, he was courteous and polite and very understanding of my circumstances. Only thing is that the quote was good at the very start, that's all! Contacted MYE Renewables for a quotation for solar panels. The response was quick and an appt booked at our convenience. We were provided with information on the options so we could make an informed choice. Chris answered our numerous questions. Chris was very thorough and provided quotations based on our needs. After accepting the quotation a installation date was set. We were kept informed of the progress leading up to the install date. The team who installed the system were very respectful of our property and were very tidy. Once completed Chris spent time demonstrating the system and has also replied very quickly to any questions we have had. I would not hesitate in recommending Chris and his team at MYE Renewables.

I had a solar panel and battery installation carried out by Chris and his team a couple of years ago which went really well and today I have had Chris come and install an additional battery to enhance what was already a fantastic system

Chris at Hector's Electrics Limited was good enough to come and do the replacement of our EV charger at short notice. Courteous, meticulous and extremely professional in his methods he made a very clean and smart job of the install, corrected a serious and potentially dangerous fault from a previous contractor, and provided full small works certification within days. Cannot recommend him highly enough.

We have just had a 7.0kw Solar PV system installed with 16 panels, Luxpower hybrid inverter, battery storage, water diverter and a Myenergi Zappi car charger, the system has been up and running now for a couple of weeks and we cant believe how much energy we are producing, one day last week the system started to produce from about 5:30am ! until about 9:00pm absolutely brilliant, we produced 51kw total that day..wow..the system has exceeded our expectations, From the initial consultation with Roger ( Make your energy ) producing a detailed report of energy expectations and equipment options for the most efficient system for our requirements and roof size, Chris and his team have been very professional and extremely knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble, Chris even did a roof survey with a drone and pointed out a couple of cracked tiles , which he had replaced, we were informed at every stage of timescales for the scaffolders and roofers who again were very professional, The quality of the installation was excellent a very neat job, Jordan who did most of the installation was very knowledgeable and friendly, Chris even bought a skip bag for the rubbish, We would highly recommend to use Chris and his team for Solar PV installation, and cant wait for some more sun !! ...

We wanted solar energy for a long time and could not find anyone who could discuss our requirements and give us a suitable solution until we met Chris Hector. From initial contact through to installation of a 6kwhr storage battery system to my existing PV system, Hectors Electrics were very good. Technically very knowledgeable about the installation and its integration with my existing system. Initial set up by team was very good and follow up by Chris in setting up the software via App and online was clear and effective. I found it easy to work with Chris and his team in the planning phase, exchanging ideas to achieve my preference for installation to be in the loft of my circa 1980's house. On the installation day the two electricians were friendly and respectful of my property. I have no reservations that should the need arise, Chris will be helpful with any follow up queries wrt software and control system to maximise the benefit from the installation.

I recently used Hector's Electrics to install a battery system (LuxPower Inverter and Greenlinx batteries). The service provided from start to finish was excellent. Upon initial engagement with Hectors a site survey was done discussing battery options, size of system etc. A report was provided showing payback for various options allowing me to make an informed decision. The install was primarily done by Alex and Jordan who were both friendly and professional. Chris carried out the final commissioning of the system. Chris has been responsive to any questions I have and providing ongoing support. The overall job was of a very high standard and I am very happy with the service provided and won't hesitate to use Hectors for future electrical work.

Found these guys from our local village magazine and thought of giving them a go. All I can say is wow! Great customer service and within 24 hours of me booking an electrician my issue was fixed. Definitely use Hectors Electrics again and thanks again to Alex for fixing our extractor fan!

Hector's Electrics did an amazing job. They gave a thorough initial inspection to discuss requirements and managed to install everything soon afterwards to a very high standard for a reasonable price. I'm really happy with the quality of the work and when a minor fault was found they came over to correct it the next day. Strongly recommend.

I had work done to remove some existing sockets, change and move single sockets from single to double, replace light switches, change a single socket to double usb socket and fit a brand new double usb socket. Great service from start to finish. Really happy with the quote and the work done. Process was really well managed by the team. Work was completed when stated and for the quoted price. All rubbish and mess was cleaned up and removed from my house. 👍👌

Would highly recommend Hector's electrics, they have me advanced notice of when they would arrive and turned up on time. Neatly fitted the wiring in the garage and went through how to use the charging points and demonstrated it working with their electric van (my electric vehicle hadn't arrived yet) They were polite and professional. Highly recommend their good quality service and communication.

Thanks for a great job Chris! Quite an unusual job but as the EV Changer was being installed at a Grade 2 Listed Building, it was necessary to get listed building consent and full planning permission even though this is not normally required for such a device under the permitted development scheme. This process took most of 2021 as we were applying for multiple development at the same time. Chis showed incredible stamina with my ever more demanding specification so as to be mounted away from the building and between us, we worked together with me doing the trench and post work and Chris doing the clever bit. The post with was sourced from Hadley Reclaim, is a similar age to the house C1574. Perhaps a horse and cart would have been a better mode of transport but time move on :-)

Recent electrical installation work completed by Hectors Electrical was excellent. Both Chris & Tom were brilliant from start to finish. Great communication was the key, I always knew what was happening and when. Definitely recommend.

Chris was recommended to us ans took a job on (testing) in preparation for a house sale knowing that we need it done together with any repairs quickly. Testing was carried out within couple of days, and we have been told that there are no issues. We then had to wait over a week for the results when we tried to get in touch via phone or email Chris was unresponsive and eventually told us: ''As a successful business we sometimes become overloaded with work and this causes our service levels to drop.'' - which meant to us as much as 'I took too much on, don't care, I will pickup your job when I finish with more profitable jobs'. Finally, we were surprised to receive negative testing results with numerous issues highlighted.We then tried to get some clarification and quote for solutions - this unfortunately took too long, and we had to hire someone else to re-test and carry out requires repairs and modifications. We have noticed that our electric under floor heating stopped working during or just after the testing have been carried out - after almost a month delay and follow-up emails Chris replied ''I can't see how our testing would have broken the power supply to the floor.'' This contradicts what our new electrician diagnosed. We have asked for a discount to compensate the delays but non was hive same happened with the under floor control unit cost no compensation was offered. The only positive I can find assuming it was honest was the thorough and descriptive analysis of the electrical system. I decided to post this review as a warning for others and I do not expect explanations offers of refund or any other action. I have paid for the inadequate service in full and already paid for re-testing and repairs also replaced mysteriously damaged control unit at my own cost.

We used Hector's electrics for our kitchen refit. Throughout the process Chris and his team were professional, conscientious and worked with us to find the best solutions to achieve what we wanted. All the work was carried out to an excellent standard and everything left neat and tidy afterwards. Very pleased with the service we received!

Hectors electrics installed some external sockets for us. Chris was very professional with his advice and guidance regarding meeting our needs. Once we agreed he scheduled the work keeping us informed along the way. Chris and Tom arrived on the date expected and once initiated Tom completed the work to a satisfactory standard.
