Thursday 8th January 2026 3130 storm Grotti (85mph) loud crash on investigation 1 solar panel blown from the flat roof and another one the edge. Local companies not interested, contacted Simple Solar (72 miles away) very prompt response meant that the repair was complete in under 4 weeks. All staff and John the installer were pleasant and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Simple Solar to anyone wanting Solar panels installed

From start to finish these guys provided the perfect service. The advice they provided, quality of workmanship and the support through the process. Solar panels and heat pump fitted, already noticed savings and house is a lot warmer.

Absolutely smashing service from the team at Simple Solar. We had been thinking about getting a solar system installed for quite some time, and saw their advert online. Dave came over and explained how it would all work, outlined our potential savings going forward, discussed our budget, and answered all our questions. The installation was booked in shortly after this consultation in October 2025, and the contractors used were extremely efficient, helpful and tidy. Dan and Ben were always at the end of the phone to help answer any questions we had, and sort out the system registration process. Even now 4 months later, they are available to help, and regularly check in to make sure our system is performing at it's optimal level. We would highly recommend Simple Solar to anyone thinking of getting a solar system installed, and would definitely use them again for any future solar projects. Thanks Guys 😊

We already had 16 PVs since 2014 but this year realised that battery storage was a realistic option. We approached Simple Solar at Launceston Agricultural Show and how glad are we that we did! Ben, Anna and their team were friendly and professional throughout. Despite difficult installation requirements Lewis and Harvey were absolutely brilliant. We now have an additional 2.2Kw of panels, inverter and 11Kw battery integrated with our original PVs. We are delighted with the service we received from Ben and the installation team and will sing their praises whenever we can!

Thank you for making the experience simple, easy to negotiate and a high quality service. From start to finish everything was explained clearly and I was given all the options that would best suit my needs. Nothing was too much for trouble, and I am so happy with the end result. I was looking to save money and take control of my out going’s, which had become more of a concern. Solar took that worry away as now my electricity is paid for by my panels, and I can earn money from what I generate and don’t need. I need be considerate of my spending and saving and solar has definitely given me more control, and relieved me of the normal worry when each year the price of every goes up. Simple Solar were outstanding from the first visit to completion of fittings and final removal of scaffolding. There patience in explaining the process and how to go about applying for our SEG supplier was excellent. I am now looking forward to lower utility bills. We had a great experience with simple solar, start to finish. We had solar panels, a battery and EV charged point installed, and the system works perfectly. The neighbours commented how good the installers were and how thoroughly they did the job, and one neighbour noted that one installers had approached him to show him a photo of a tile that had broken on his roof (to which he was really grateful to be made aware of). Also, local to Plymouth, so easier to get hold of if you need to. Would recommend.

Had 14 panels and battery installed over 2days on an east/west facing roof All done very professionally by a great team from initial advisor, scaffolding and installation guys. Over last 6 weeks we have used no electric from grid other than standing charges. We have been provided with all documents for seg payments but await our full details as an inputter. ( Can take up to 4 weeks after submitting documents) Our app we were given indicates we could earn £100 even in September. Must add the main installer Lewis went above our expectations of helpfulness and talked us through working details. Would highly recommend this Plymouth based company.

Simple have just completed an installation on our property. Absoultely thrilled with the results - the PV generates exactly what they promised it would, and the battery storage is fantastic. We can pretty much power our whole house from solar both day and night. The installation was quick, painless and very neat and tidy, being done over just under 3 days. The team were professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. Every member of staff we dealt with was superb - Ben, Dan, Dave, Anne, Lewis, Harvey and Dave G - thank you so much. The installation of 16 panels (not as hoped 21)on a challenging shaped roof went well and the workmen were experienced and swift in their work. The panels are sleek and not too obtrusive the cables were considerately placed and the inverter and battery fitted easily on the wall out of the way. It will be great to see them perform and help our self sufficiency in sunny Torbay. Thankyou Simple solar for a professional job.

Really excellent service from a local family company. From initial quote to getting on site was very quick. Despite a few hitches on the way, they were sorted quickly and professionally. Particular mention should go to Lewis the main installer who got a difficult job done on a difficult roof. His knowledge and hard work was invaluable. Simply Solar recently fitted a battery storage system involving linking to the existing panels and linking into my mains supply as well as connecting into the fuse box etc. The instillitation team arrived exactly on time as arranged and worked without break till completion. They explained each phase of the installation so zi understood what the different equipment did. They left a very clean worksite on completion and zi have no hesitation on recommending them if anyone is considering the same work. Well done

Simple Solar have recently installed a system, which included solar panels (across the house and garages) batteries and an electric vehicle charger, to my property near Kingswear. From the moment I originally contacted them they were proactive and helpful. The original budget proposal was forwarded within 24 hours (as promised) and their final proposal, following their inspection of the property, was very competitive. The installation was undertaken when promised and the quality of the work was extremely good. As a result, I would have no hesitation in recommending Simple Solar.

We had simple solar install 10 panels and battery storage system. From the first point of contact to completion of the installation was very easy and professional. On our site survey the surveyor was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had and advised us on our best options that suited our needs and budget also using quality and proved products. All the staff were very clean, polite and professional and took great care of our property. We also used there finance option and again was very easy and run smoothly. We are enjoying our solar system and it is saving us money on our electricity as estimated by simple solar so we’re very happy. Had 14 in roof panels and a battery fitted to our property last week . Great service very neat and tidy work for the wiring and took just ofer a day to complete .
