All my dealing with this company were dealt with very professional and in a timely manner. I always have been give a quotation and the actual coast were always with in the quotation. Everyone that came to my house to work was professional and worked to a high standard. They left my house clean and the workmanship was very good.

Fantastic service, start to finish. Great responsiveness, great communication, prompt help, and excellent work at a sensible price. I can't fault anything at all - quite the opposite.

We had problems with our heating and subsequently hot water for a 3 week period over Christmas and New Year. Our usual plumber's couldn't seem to find the problem and eventually recommended a power flush for £600. I then contacted Red Van who were very helpful and got someone to me within 2 days. Daniel called 20 minutes before the appointment time and duly arrived. I explained the issue and left it to him. 25 minutes later, he had sorted the problem! He explained what he'd done and gave some advice for future maintenance. Excellent customer service. The radiators were getting warm already and the boiler (only 4 years old) was as quiet as when it was new. Quite frankly, I was amazed. Over the next few hours, the radiators were kicking out so much heat we had to turn them down and the hot water was scalding. I can't recommend Red Van highly enough. They've won a customer for my future boiler needs. Thank you 👍

A big thanks to Red Van Plumbers, including James who installed my fathers boiler - and the rest of the team (Dan, Ian, Steve) who then helped with balancing the heating system. I had a final visit from Catherine to assess the work her team had completed which was very much appreciated. I am hoping to return next year for my boiler service also.

Thank you to the Red Van Plumbers team. They installed my father boiler promptly as he was 85, I really appreciated that. I had a few problems after the boiler install, however the team were committed to fixing the problem and sent out plumbers until the issues were repaired (thanks to Steve, Ian and Dan). The back office always took my calls and dealt with my queries politely and efficiently (Thanks Tina/Nicky) too. My father had some bad experiences with British Gas so we are glad we went with Red Van Plumbers, there was always someone we could speak to either on phone or email. Great team, great work.

Red Van Plumbers are very efficient to deal with. Their plumbers always came on time, worked without making a mess and fixed our plumbing issues perfectly. I will certainly use them again. Nothing about central heating and gas boiler repairs is ever simple and straightforward (to me at least!). We have used Heppelthwaite for over 9 years, ever since they advised on and installed our heating system, which is very advanced and includes weather compensating which has reduced our running costs. The install was perfect and Heppelthwaite return every year to undertake the service and along the way they have made some suggestions to improve the efficiency even further and these have also reduced our running costs. This primarily relates to the engineers, however the customer service, finance and admin teams are also exceptional, we have never had a problem with Heppelthwaite and when we had a system issue they were very quick to respond. We did a lot of research into the best local plumbers, prior to going with Heppelthwaite, from my perspective they are best on paper and best in class.

Red Van Plumbers are a 'Which' Trusted Trader and they did not disappoint in any respect when they installed an Air Source Heat Pump. Jack and Callum were punctual, tidy and delivered a system, commissioned and operating to specification.

Tara came to do an inspection of my boiler and hot water cylinder. It was carried out quickly and included ridding the cylinder of an air bubble, which means it no longer drips. Great service! I will definitely use Hepplethwaite The Red Van Plumbers for any future plumbing needs.

My wife and I have used Red Van Plumbers quite a lot over the years and have always been impressed with the work they have done for us. Had a leak through our living room ceiling recently and called them out. James came and was polite and professional throughout. He found the leak and knew exactly how to fix it. Leak was repaired same day thanks to James. Can’t fault the service at all and would always recommend them to family and friends.

Shower not producing hot water this morning so posted my job but then remembered The Red Van Plumbers and got booked in for the same day. Picked up a brand new shower and arrived home to find James waiting for me. James got straight to it and finished installing the new shower 20 minutes later. James was super efficient and knew his stuff. I was so impressed at how quickly he finished the job. No dawdling and no messing me about. James is a real asset to the Red Van Plumbers so hold onto him guys. I have now found a plumber I can trust.

Red Van Plumbers came to stop a fast flowing leak in the Kitchen. Alice was so helpful in diagnosing the problem quickly and efficiently. She returned shortly with a new pipe and resolved it in the same day. Thank you :)

Very happy with the annual service today of my boiler and hot water cylinder by Tara. She arrived on time, was professional, polite and did a thorough job.

John Campbell provided an excellent services. He did the annual checking, found the pipe leaking and repaired/replaced it. He kept the work area clean and also removed the rust stains for me. I look forward to seeing him again next annual checking.

My wife and I have been very impressed by the work that the Heppelthwaite team have done for us over the years and just recently. When we moved into our house, over 30 years ago(!), we inherited a Potterton Boiler that was at least 5 or more years old. We were advised by Catherine Heppelthwaite that they could easily keep our boiler working with regular annual (or even biennial) servicing, provided parts were available, which they have been. We followed this advice but our old boiler eventually showed problems (slight CO and gas leaks on the flue) and so we took the plunge and replaced it. An experienced engineer (over 20 years' experience) and a very competent apprentice carefully removed the old boiler, bricked up the flue area and the floor standing area, cleaned out our pipework (a "power flush"), and installed a new Worcester Bosch boiler. This work took just over three days - at the end of each day they left the area clean and tidy. And we now have a fully guaranteed, state-of-the-art, much more efficient boiler. What more could we ask? We would recommend the team any day.

The whole process was excellent. Sent a message about the jobs I required. Catherine attended. Discussed what I wanted and my best options. Then when I asked her to return and add another job, she came promptly. Again offered advice and helpful caution about what I wanted. Then dates were arranged for the engineers to attend. The different engineers were all polite,cheerful, informative and professional. Cleared up after their work. There was one problem which was explained and further assistance was required to complete the job. I was very satisfied with the quality of the work and have had no problems since all the jobs were completed. No complaints.

Excellent Service From The Red Van Plumbers

I have used Heppelthwaite The Red Van Plumbers for years and have always found them to be excellent. Over the years they have installed and serviced our boiler, fitted a new bathroom and fixed some general plumbing, such as fixing a leaky tap and replacing a shower valve. From booking to the work being done, I've been very impressed. I highly recommend The Red Van Plumbers.

After over ten years since we last used…

After over ten years since we last used Hepplethwaite (now known as Red Van Plumbers) we wondered if the service would be at the same level as it was the last two times we used them. We were overjoyed to discover that they are still fantastic. Sue and Sarah, who handled my call, were incredibly helpful and professional. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and they were reassuring in helping. This time we had a burst pipe behind our garage wall, which, being a townhouse, was underneath the flooring in our kitchen. It was a main that had, over time, had a the point of a screw from our flooring, wearing into the main supply pipe. Because the hole in the pipe was behind a joist the plumber had to to go through a kitchen tile, and the plyboard panel underneath, to get to the damage. The amount of disruption was minimal and the plumber was extremely considerate in how he affected the repair. As a result of the work carried out some limescale became lodged further up the main supply which was blocking the feed to the tank and stopping it filling. Sarah arranged for an engineer to come and sort that out...which I was very surprised to find happening extremely quickly. I can't speak too highly of the company and it's people. Would not hesitate, for a second, to recommend. Bravo Red Van Plumbers!

Charging for call outs & poor service

I was using them for a few years, but no more - first few years delivered good service, but recent services missed key issues in our hot water cylinder, which resulted in a repair being needed. They sent a guy to diagnose it, came back with a huge quote which was beaten by all the guys I had round on checkatrade, and then charged me for the diagnosis when I didn't go with them.
